About Gwilio

Gwilio is a lightweight tool that allows hotels to capture your team's local knowledge, recommendations and tips and instantly shares them with guests in a simple Digital Insider Guide.

We've published a demo guide for a fictional hotel so you can experience exactly what your guests will see — before committing to anything. View the Demo Guide

Most hotels are fully set up in under 30 minutes.
Create an account, create a Guide, add your recommendations, categories, and essentials.
Publish the guide and you're live. All that rests is sharing the link or the QR code.

No, there is no setup cost.
Gwilio is designed to be as simple as possible to get started, with no hidden fees or onboarding charges. You pay only the monthly subscription — and you can cancel any time.

Gwilio is designed for busy hotel staff, not IT professionals. If you can use a smartphone and type a message, you can use Gwilio.
Most teams are fully comfortable within the first session. No training programme needed.

Not at all. Gwilio is designed to complement the front desk, not replace it.
It reduces repetitive questions so your team can focus on providing real value instead of being just information desks.

Yes, guests arrive informed, inspired, and ready to talk about what they saw in your guide.
It improves quality conversations.

Because guests ask the same questions every day.
Digitizing your knowledge gives them instant clarity and saves your team valuable time.

No, it's intentionally lightweight and simple to use, built especially for busy staff.

Yes, staff can add, change, or remove information in seconds.
Updates appear instantly for all guests.

No. Gwilio works entirely in the browser and can be accessed on any device, anywhere, anytime.

By handling the repetitive, everyday questions like:
Where is the best restaurant in walking distance?
What is really worth visiting?
How do we get to X?
Guests get answers instantly; staff spend more time on hospitality.

Because they become outdated, cluttered, hard to maintain.
Gwilio is designed specifically for hospitality, clean, mobile‑friendly and easy to maintain.
It provides a fixed structure that makes it easy for guests to find what they need, and for staff to keep it up to date.

Gwilio starts at €6.90/month for smaller properties (up to 20 rooms, Starter plan) and €15.90/month for the full feature set (up to 75 rooms, Growth plan). Enterprise pricing is available for groups and multi-property operators.
There are no setup fees, no hidden costs, and you can cancel at any time. Early adopters get a reduced introductory rate for their first 3 months.

Gwilio works best for boutique hotels, design hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, city hotels with high guest turnover, and destination or rural properties where local knowledge is a key part of the guest experience.
It's less suited for very large chain hotels with a dedicated digital team or properties where AI-driven guest communication is already in place.

Yes — Gwilio works alongside your PMS, not instead of it. Your PMS handles bookings, payments, and check-in. Gwilio handles local knowledge, guest tips, and the kind of curated content your PMS doesn't cover.
No integration is required — Gwilio is a standalone web tool. You share the guide link in your booking confirmation email (generated by your PMS), and guests access it directly.

Multi-language support is on the roadmap and will be available in an upcoming release. The Growth plan will include support for multiple languages once this feature is live.
In the meantime, you can structure your guide content in any language you choose.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your guide will remain active until the end of the billing period.

Self-signup is possible — you can create an account and start building your guide right away without a sales call. We recommend using a 30-day window as a realistic trial period: that's enough time to build your guide, share it with incoming guests, and see a tangible reduction in repetitive front-desk questions.
Early adopters also get a personal onboarding session and direct access to our team if they want a guided start. Reach out here →

Gwilio checks every week whether the URLs in your guide are still reachable. If a link is broken — a restaurant website goes offline, a page moves — you get notified so you can fix it.
What Gwilio doesn't do automatically is check whether the content behind a link has changed. If a restaurant changes its opening hours or closes, you won't be alerted about that — only about the link going dead.
That's by design: Gwilio is built on human curation. You know your local area; Gwilio makes sure your knowledge is well-organised, accessible, and doesn't silently decay with broken links.
